We are going to format this like any other recipe on the site but it’s going to be a bit different just because of what wer’e making here.
This is not an edible or anything like that but we decided more and more people are wanting to use CBD oil and here is a reasonably quick way to make your own using CBD Isolate to do it with.
As far as what oil to use you can use any MCT Oil or even Olive Oil. We do not recommend that you use coconut oil but as long as you use one that is a made to be a true oil and will not harden at room temp it should work fine.
You definitely do not have to make your own CBD Oil there are plenty readily available but if you’re like me and you like to dabble in knowing how to make things as well as knowing exactly what is in your medicine then this is the CBD Oil recipe for you!
Once you have your source of CBD, it’s time to choose your suspension medium/carrier oil to make a CBD tincture. CBD can dissolve into high-fat oils like coconut oil or medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil, both of which contain other healthy ingredients that benefit the body. MCT oil has the highest bioavailability of all carrier oil options (followed by traditional coconut oil), which means that most CBD will be absorbed when it is used. Other, less bioavailable options include olive oil, palm oil, grapeseed oil, and hemp seed oil.
The CBD tincture recipe below shows you how to make your own product using either full-spectrum oral applicator CBD oils or CBD isolate powder. Choose CBD hemp oil to obtain the vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, terpenes, and other trace cannabinoids found in full-spectrum hemp oil. For a CBD tincture without plant material or excess waxes, make your CBD tincture using CBD isolate.
Choosing Your Source of CBD
Since CBD is non-psychoactive and full-spectrum hemp oil contains only trace amounts, if any, THC, CBD tinctures will not cause any intoxicating effects when they’re consumed at suggested servings.
Get the pure CBD hemp oil or CBD isolate you need to make your own CBD tinctures through the HempMeds® online CBD store or call 1-866-273-8502.
You could put your oil infusion into gel capsules. This is ideal if you are certain of the oil’s potency. This method allows you to make more precise, concentrated doses.
While CBD-A may have its own benefits, CBD seems to be a more effective medicine. This same process applies to other cannabinoids including, THC-A/THC.
Some people like to infuse butter, while others prefer coconut oil. You could even use something like MCT oil. High-proof alcohol can also be infused. Just be aware of the properties of the carrier oil that you use. Studies suggest that the best oil to use is could actually be olive oil.
