what does cbd oil make you feel like

Beyond CBD’s use to promote general wellness, studies and anecdotal evidence also suggest that it may offer therapeutic value in treating chronic pain, reducing inflammation, and helping reduce anxiety. It could also be a potential treatment for a range of other conditions such as nerve pain, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and more. More research is needed to reach any clear or certain conclusions regarding the beneficial properties of CBD.

Does CBD make you feel good?

Depending on the treatment or therapeutic relief you seek, different CBD products may prove more beneficial than others. For instance, CBD-infused topicals have been reported to provide localized relief in pain-specific areas, while a CBD oil with a 1-to-1 ratio of CBD-to-THC could be better as a sleep aid, perhaps also producing an intoxicating feeling, depending on the level of THC.

CBD may cause other side effects in some individuals, including nausea and irritability. Dr. Peter Grinspoon, a primary care physician at Massachusetts General Hospital and contributor to the Harvard Health Blog, discussed these potential side effects in a 2018 post, writing, “Side effects of CBD include nausea, fatigue, and irritability.”

Most people experience zero adverse side effects with regular CBD use. However, as with most supplements, negative experiences are possible.

The answer to that common question is a resounding, “No!” No product sold legally in the United States as a CBD supplement will make you feel any of the intoxicating effects known to come from THC.

Pain relief is a common reason people turn to CBD products. If you have arthritis, chronic diseases, or gastrointestinal issues, relief can be hard to find. High-quality CBD can help to reduce or eliminate symptoms of these common conditions.

More Focus

When possible, choose full-spectrum CBD products. If your job requires drug tests, then broad-spectrum oils, edibles, or lotions might be better options.

In the United States, a product sold and advertised as CBD can only have 0.3% of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Because your CBD product is at least 99.7% CBD, you will only experience the non-intoxicating, non-psychoactive properties of cannabidiol. There is not enough THC for even the most sensitive person to feel its effects.

During broad-spectrum CBD processing, manufacturers further reduce the presence of THC in the compound. Instead of allowing up to 0.3%, they remove all THC from the final product completely. The CBD and other beneficial parts of the hemp plant remain.

CBD is short for cannabidiol. It is a non-intoxicating and non-psychoactive compound derived from cannabis plants.

It’s certainly a very special property of CBD products and it comes down to two things:

This, blended with everything else CBD helps your body do, could not only make for a more enjoyable night, but a more bearable morning after too.

Does CBD really relieve pain?

That being said, it is vitally important to be wary of poor quality, unregulated CBD products. When purchasing CBD, always look for organic growing methods and transparent lab reports to ensure you are only ever putting the very best ingredients into your body.

Because of this, plenty of CBD users have claimed that they find CBD to be extremely effective when it comes to pain relief, when taken internally and also when applied topically, as receptors are also found in almost every skin cell throughout all lipid layers. It’s not possible to make any hard claims as to this yet though.

You may have heard anecdotes from friends about the benefits bringing this natural supplement into your life has to offer. But, while fascinating to learn about, you may feel as though none of this has clearly told you how CBD will make you feel. We’re here to fill you in.
